Green Hour #9

We spent the day attempting to volunteer at the butterfly garden and chasing Charlotte which didn't work out very well. While we were there we got a chance to watch this baby armadillo do some serious rooting around in square foot area.
Be the armadillo, Sam! We did not have as much luck finding items as the armadillo but it sure was fun pretending.

Love the baby armadillo...what a great animal to imitate in digging for in your square.

Sounds like your nature study is moving right along...I'm so happy for your family.

Thanks for the link,

Great pictures! I really like your blog also. The armadillo is cute. The first time I saw one of those was when I was on vacation and riding my horse at night and she was spooked by one that ran across our path. I actually do think they are cute =o) Thanks for sharing your Green Hour with us!!

Love the baby armadillo! We had trouble sticking with one square foot, too. But, we had fun exploring the grass and a few small finds.
